We are recruiting for a Personal Outcomes Worker III. This is a part-time position.

The Personal Outcomes Worker will support people with an intellectual disability to achieve their personal goals. The Worker also facilitates relationships, skills and roles which promote people’s effective participation in the typical and valued life of the community using personal outcome measures.

It is expected that you will support people to enjoy quality of life and, for this purpose, quality of life will be measured by eleven plus outcomes and eleven plus supports for each person.

Personal Outcomes Workers will ensure that the people they support enjoy the best possible quality of life in the following areas of their lives.

Complete Job Description

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of the Developmental Service Worker, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Child & Youth Worker, Correctional Worker, Behavioral Science Technologist, or other college diploma and/or university degree applicable to the specific position
  • Must demonstrate the following core competencies for direct support professionals:
    • Advocating for others
    • Collaboration
    • Creative problem solving and decision making
    • Fostering independence in others
    • Initiative
    • Interpersonal relations and respect
    • Resilience
  •  Medication administration training (if required)
  • Current C.P.R. and First Aid certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends
