Mativ (formerly Scapa) is a global supplier of bonding solutions and a manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the healthcare and industrial markets.

Our Renfrew site is currently accepting applications for a full-time Mixtruder Operator with an immediate start date.

Reporting to the designated shift supervisor, the Mixtruder Operator will be responsible for compounds and mixing materials to produce various adhesives while using a mixtruder. While the mixtruder is mixing adhesive batches or as assigned, the operator will compound primer mixes.

• Grade 12 education
• 3-5 years of proven experience, ideally in a fast-moving dynamic manufacturing environment
• Math and mechanical aptitude, as determined by entry testing
• Ability to work days and nights on a rotating 12-hour schedule

Compensation Package:

• Rate of pay: starting at $21.68 per hour.
• 6.5% company RRSP contribution after 672 hours of employment worked.
• Group benefits include company-paid comprehensive medical and dental benefits after 672 hours of employment worked.
