Crosstown Construction Inc. is the Madawaska Valley's first choice in landscaping services. We offer professional landscaping, excavation, lot development septic systems, property maintenance, tree and stump removal, asphalt paving and dumpster bin rentals.

We are recruiting for a Yard Associate. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and some Saturdays, 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard Associate will be required to manage the day-to-day activities of the landscape yard.  This includes but is not limited to:

  • dealing with customers regarding all types of materials
  • scheduling the deliveries of material to customers
  • purchasing of materials as required
  • preparing quotations for customers
  • maintaining the material yard in a neat and organized manner
  • customer invoicing and payment collection for material delivered from the yard and customer pick-ups
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar environment and knowledge of aggregates would be an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Competent in the use of computers, accounting system software and spreadsheet software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to run equipment (or be willing to learn)
