We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Clerk. This is an 18-month maternity leave contract working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
The Payroll Clerk is an important member of our human resources team and performs the following responsibilities:
- Keep employee information (ROEs, benefit entitlements, etc.) current and updated and ensure they are submitted on the appropriate forms
- Process payroll-related payments such as regular pay, vacation pay, bonuses and special payments and identify any discrepancies
- Provide updates to the company on payroll reports and statements
- Assist with developing payroll policies, employee onboarding packages and other processes or procedures that benefit the company's operations
