IMA offers a unique process where precision tooling is combined with metal alloys and is used to join multiple components into a ready-to-use assembly with a single operation. Dynacast Peterborough is dedicated to designing, building, manufacturing, and delivering quality die cast components.

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative-Planner. This is a contract position for three months, with the possibility of an extension beyond that. Hours would be 32-40 per week.

About the Role:

The Customer Service Representative-Planner serves as our customers' designated go-to person. This role will enter and monitor the production of customer orders and escalate the resolution of plant issues regarding quality and delivery problems. This role works to maintain Dynacast's reputation in the marketplace.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as our customer's single point of contact in the event of a problem that is not resolved to their satisfaction;
  • Ensure customer orders meet minimum order quantity, minimum order value, pricing and current revision level;
  • Pro-actively escalate all serious or potentially serious issues related problems in an expeditious manner;
  • Liaise, coordinate, communicate and facilitate problem resolution with the necessary functions, to resolve customer issues and communicate production and shipment delays etc.;
  • Communicate production and shipment delays or tooling issues to customers;
  • Adjust schedules per customer demands;
  • Follow the Dynacast quality policy and procedures manuals;
  • Develop meaningful relations with key customers, manufacturer representatives, and subcontractors;
  • Recommend production requirements to meet customer needs;
  • Be familiar with all Dynacast sales policies.
Qualifications
  • Customer service oriented
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills
  • Working knowledge of QAD or other MRP system (preferred) and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook);
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
