Princess Animal Hospital is currently recruiting for a Veterinary Technician.

Do you want to do meaningful work with animals? Promote their wellness, heal their wounds, and save their lives? A job as a veterinary technician allows you to be a voice for the pets that add so much value to the lives of humans and build relationships and support the pet parents who love them.

Our facility does not do grooming or ask our team to sell over-the-counter pet retail products. We focus strictly on high-quality veterinary medicine, client education, and excellent client service.

If you are dependable, love to delight clients, and work well in a fast-paced, fun, team environment, this job may be for you! This position requires a positive and friendly attitude, great client service skills, and a desire to compassionately care for animals.

You must be available to work full-time, weekdays until 8:00pm and Saturdays until 4:00pm.

Qualifications

Candidates must know how to:

  • safely restrain patients using low-stress measures,
  • perform x-rays, prep for and assist with surgeries,
  • perform venipuncture,
  • place IV catheters,
  • maintain accurate electronic records,
  • obtain patient history, and
  • educate clients about common pet health concerns.

This position also requires cleaning enclosures, feeding, and walking pets.

Experience with Avimark is a plus.

We have a team-oriented and client service focused hospital in which all team members backup phones and team members must work together to perform all hospital duties.

Additional Information

Competitive pay and benefits package offered including health insurance, generous pet benefits, paid time off and more! We are an equal opportunity employer.

To apply, email your resume and cover letter.
