Student Labourers - County of Renfrew

The County of Renfrew is a municipal government stretching west from Ottawa to the northern tip of historic Algonquin Park. Founded in 1861, the County of Renfrew is the largest county in Ontario and is comprised of 17 communities, providing service to 107,000 residents.

The County of Renfrew is currently recruiting for Student Labourers. These are summer student positions from April 26, 2021 to August 27, 2021. Positions are at the Southwest Patrol and Goshen Patrol yards.

The Student Labourer assists with the operation of public works garages, including:

• the installation of roadway signage,
• repairs to fencing,
• guardrails and guideposts,
• trimming or removal of trees, brush and grass from county roads,
• garage maintenance.

• Returning to school in September 2021 is a prerequisite
• Must have valid driver’s licence
• Must provide personal CSA approved safety boots or footwear
