SWM Scapa is a global supplier of bonding solutions and a manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the Healthcare and Industrial markets.

Our Renfrew site is currently accepting applications for full-time Slitter Operators with an immediate start date.

Reporting to the designated shift supervisor, the Slitter Operator will be responsible for all aspects of operation on the duplex score-knife slitter used for converting jumbo rolls of adhesive tape into smaller rolls.

• Grade 12 education
• 3-5 years of proven experience, ideally in a fast moving, dynamic manufacturing environment
• Math and mechanical aptitude as determined by entry testing (minimum of 80% required on testing)
• Ability to work days and nights on a rotating 12-hour schedule

Compensation Package:

• Rate of pay: $21.49 to $23.38 per hour
• RRSP: 6.5% company RRSP contribution after 672 hours of employment
• Group benefits: Company paid comprehensive medical and dental benefits after 672 hours of employment
