Noremac Drillers Inc. is a family owned and operated business founded in 1996. We specialize in drilling and blasting operations across Ontario. We provide quarry drilling and blasting, precision blasting and marine blasting services. Our services are used for projects such as cottage basement blasting, dam project blasting, road widening and high rise building structures, among others.

We are recruiting for a Driller-Blaster Labourer to join our team for a work project in the west end of Ottawa.

 In this role, you will be supporting drilling operations on a variety of projects under a supervisor. Safety is a crucial part of our business, so you will always be following the policies and procedures required in this job. Additional responsibilities that come with this role include mixing drilling fluids, carrying out basic maintenance on equipment, managing supplies and other team-support duties as required.

Qualifications

No previous experience is required for this position. All training and required courses are provided. We are looking for a dependable and hard working person. This is a position that provides plenty of opportunity for advancement.

This is a physical job so you will need to be able to perform this work. Being comfortable exposed to a variety of outdoor environments with a commitment to working safely is required.  Valid First Aid and CPR certificates, or other related training, is an asset.
