We are recruiting for a Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator uses their knowledge and experience to collaborate with the KLC team, sub-contractors and clients to successfully deliver a wide range of construction projects. This position directs planning, coordination and safe execution of the work in accordance with contracts, schedule, and budget.


  • Act as site manager, supervising production members and sub-contractors
  • Create and submit a daily log for each project to which they are assigned
  • Maintain daily contact with the Project Developer and Production Manager on project status through a daily log
  • Create and execute an accurate five-day plan each week
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety legislation, and standards•
  • Assign and prioritize tasks for production team
  • Conduct daily tailgate safety talks, highlighting relevant job-specific hazards
  • Maintain sub-contractor relationships and scheduling
  • Complete daily site meetings with various design, PD and production team members
  • Interpret project timelines, plans, diagrams, blueprints, sketches, specifications, and working drawings of construction jobs
  • Provide daily feedback to the production team ensuring quality standards are met
  • Treat first aid issues on the job site
  • Arrange and secure inspection with township building inspectors
  • Regularly liaise with clients
  • Provide a high level of client satisfaction

  • Knowledge of appropriate legislation including: Occupational Health & Safety Act, construction regulations
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and appropriate standards
  • Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools
  • Moderate computer and technology skills (MS Office, text, email, tablet)
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Competent supervisor training (MOL)
  • Must have valid G licence with a clean driving record
  • Boating licence
  • Must purchase basic hand and power tools


  • Ability to complete all tasks with high attention to detail

  • Schedule, completing tasks on time and within budget to meet volume and gross profit
  • Provide accurate estimates
  • College-level math skills
  • Maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients and employees in a professional manner
  • Train and mentor all field staff
