Environmentall Contracting Services Inc (ECSI) is looking for an exceptional individual to fill the role of Manager of our Demolition division.

In this position you will be responsible for business development, sales, estimating, client relations, leadership and stakeholder relations. Through innovative and forward-thinking strategies, you will contribute to the continued growth of this values-based company.

The Manager, Demolition is responsible for the overall performance of the division, including but not limited to:

  • business development
  • sales
  • estimating
  • operations
  • customer service, client relations, retention
  • leadership
  • brand relations
  • stakeholder relations
  • financial performance

Complete Job Description

  • University degree or college diploma in business, or construction
  • 5 or more years of experience estimating both ICI and residential demolition projects
  • 10 or more years of experience in a management capacity; demolition industry is preferred but not expected
  • Detailed understanding of practices for demolition
  • Detailed understanding and ability to read and interpret blueprints and CCDC specifications
  • Strong knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction and demolition
  • Strong knowledge of MOL guidelines and legislation
  • Passion for selling and ambition to excel
  • Respect and appreciation for detail
  • Clear and concise communication style
  • Ability to plan and organize a team with the capacity to motivate and lead
  • Good client management and goodwill building ability
  • Experience managing and monitoring budgets.Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
